The Association for the Preservation and Promotion of the Ryukyu Sanshin celebrates its 30th anniversary since its formation in 1986. The association has been holding sanshin appraisals at the Okinawa Prefectural Museum (hereafter referred to as the Okinawa Prefectural Museum and Art Museum) throughout those 30 years. This exhibit will showcase high-quality sanshin that were found during the appraisals.
