Amazingly Realistic Paintings - The Masterpieces of Hoki museum

The Hoki Museum, a rarity in specializing in Realist paintings, opened in 2010 in Chiba, Japan. In recent years, the museum has created a surge in interest for Realist paintings as it finds and nurtures young artists and holds public exhibitions of its approximately 480 works.

In this exhibition, we introduce Japan’s leading Realist painters including Sosuke Morimoto, Hiroshi Noda, Hiroshi Ikushima and Nobuyuki Shimamura. Also 64 works by 26 younger artists will be exhibited for the first time in Okinawa.
Experience these extraordinary Realist paintings, where the paintings can appear more life-like than the subjects.
